MOTIVATION

George Tabor is generally known as the grand old timer of the theater. Our production of I PAGLIACCI was a big hit. Later being filmed for Austrian TV, it is still shown 2-3 times a year around Europe. George's way of working was rather foreign to us opera singers. George had us playing "games" and doing "exercises"  for the first two weeks of the rehearsal time. Which generally drove us all MAD! One main prop for our production was ... an apple. I'm not quite sure, but this cartoon might well be an actual documentation of one of those rehearsals!
