WORKING WITH JOHNNY FRENCH
Johnny French's real name is Jean-Francois Sivadier. I made a joke one day and called him "Johnny French" ... and it kind of became his new name during the production! Jean-Francois is an excellent theater man! A man of great philosophy and humanity. Working with him was a creative pleasure! Although ... sometimes we had trouble communicating because most of us spoke French badly! Jean-Francois compensated by doing a fantastic job of improving his English! (however, no one still knows what "tak-tak" means!)
