Thomas Blum is no longer with us. He was an able, and seasoned coach as well as a backbone to the studio. He conducted the studio production of Die Zauberflöte ... ( The Magic Flute ) which we performed in the oper house, as well as the touring studio production of Cavalli's "L'Ormindo." He had a great sense of humor and even though the Swiss orchestra did not appreciate his love for garlic, lead us valiantly through the trials and tribulations of studio life .
