Most directors hate prompter boxes. They get in the way. Most singers hate directors. The get in the way. That's the way it goes. In this case Pierre was thrilled to find out that he won the battle to have the prompter's box removed. ( Much to the dismay of course of the prompter, and the colleagues who hadn't quite learned their text yet ) The statue below was part of the props and is supposed to be a boat figure head ... without a boat. This was a favorite cartoon of the cast.
