Louis Gentile, Angelo .....? ( Sitting on piano ) Joe D'amico, Robert Duval & Angelo's brother, ( seated ) Circa 1981. Bob Duval used to frequent "Bianchi & Margarita's" opera restaurant where Lou sang in New York while studying voice. Duval had just shot and directed his first film "Angelo my love" ( based on the real life character of the little boy on the piano ) Bob was a fan of Lou's guitar playing and pop / folk singing in the restaurant as well as his operatic renditions. Duval was working on his film "Tender Mercies" at the time and used to observe Louis for guitar technique.
